DO I NEED TO DEPOSIT? What are the payment conditions?
To book a service, 30% downpayment is required to secure the spot. Downpayment is non-refundable after the two-week cooling off period after you send your deposit. Prices are subject to change without further notice. This applies to clients who will book more than one financial year from their wedding date.
Remaining balance/full payment + travel fee required to be settled on or before the end of the service.
what are your travel fees?
Travel fee applies as per discussion prior to the day of the event. Our travel rate is calculated by distance and time required for the artist to travel to the location.
do you have a minimum number of people required to book you on the day?
Any bookings beyond an hour to 1.5hr drive from my home office (Rosehill), a minimum of 2 people will be required to secure my services.
do I need to prepare anything before the event?
YOUR DESIRED LOOK: Please prepare 2-3 pictures of your desired look and discuss this with the HMUA prior to the day of the event. This will save us time so we can go ahead with the services as soon as possible.
SKIN CARE: Wash you face the night before and apply your usual skincare products. However, if you tend to have drier skin or mature skin, it will be more helpful if you use a face mask prior to the day of the event. Please exfoliate your lips lightly with wet toothbrush and slather lip balm or cream prior to going to bed.
Hydrate yourself well and avoid drinking alcohol prior to the day of the event. On the day of the event, please come with a bare face (SPF is acceptable). For clients with sensitive skin and have their own strict skin regimen, it is recommended that you bring your own skincare products.
Please do not undergo active/special facial services within 2-3 weeks prior to the event, this is to avoid unexpected skin reactions that may come out during the day of the event.
BROWS: Please ensure that brows are groomed prior to the service especially for brows without shape, a brow professional should handle your brow needs. However, I can tidy up some stray brow hairs prior to the service (note that this will take additional time). For bigger bridal parties, it is required that this is completed prior to the service to ensure timely completion of services.
HAIR SERVICES: For those availing hair services, wash your hair with shampoo the night before to thoroughly clean the hair residues. Please ensure your hair is 100% dry and is clean (no residual products). Please do not use a conditioner (otherwise specified) to ensure the style will hold longer. After washing the hair, blowdry your hair upside down to give it a bit of lift and volume. For those who want straight hair style, please use a conditioner on the day you wash your hair for the event (unless otherwise specified).
For ladies with naturally curly hair, kindly refer to the “curly girl method” prior to the service, if you are not already doing this before. You can search this on Google and practice doing it least a few weeks prior to your event. This may also mean that at the start of the service, your hair may still be wet. If you have further questions, you are welcome to contact me for more information.
For ladies with frizzy, coarse or curly hair and wanting a smooth finish, it is recommended that they have their hair blowdried professionally on a salon to keep the style smooth and frizz free on the day of the event,

ENVIRONMENT: a well-lit, well-ventilated, cool area with a table where I can place my kit will be suitable. It will also be helpful if there is an available power outlet so I can plug in my lighting and hair equipment.
What happens if i cannot make it to your desired date?
If I cannot deliver the service due to unforeseen circumstances, I will let you know as soon as possible. I will return the deposit you sent, no questions asked. I will find a suitable replacement so you can still have your hair and make-up services, within my capacity. I have partnered with other hair and make-up artists, however, it will still depend upon their availability on your scheduled event. Price difference may apply should there be a difference between my rate and their rate. You can find a suitable replacement of your own preference as well.
